It is my great honor and privilege to serve this outstanding family and welcome you to the Southeastern Division of Fire Chiefs.
The Southeastern Division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs is the largest division within the International Association, representing and serving more than 2,000 members from the mountains of West Virginia and Virginia to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf Coast, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. We are dedicated to supporting and advancing the leadership and capabilities of fire and emergency service leaders not only within our division but across the globe.
Since 1873, our Association has served as a cornerstone for leaders in fire and emergency services, providing a platform to build professional relationships, exchange ideas, enhance professional development, and stay at the forefront of innovation in our field. It is our promise to continue serving as a beacon for those leading today’s fire and emergency services along with helping prepare and chart the courses for the future.
Our mission is clear: to empower current and future fire-rescue and EMS chiefs, officers, and emergency service managers with the vision, education, and resources needed to excel in their roles. Through our commitment to leadership, information sharing, and professional growth, we strive to elevate the standards of our profession. More importantly, we are committed to support those who lead and serve.
